As the weather gets colder, often skin can become dehydrated as we go from synthetic hot to dry outside cold quickly, which can cause skin to become stressed. As a result, skin can feel tight and uncomfortable and we can see visible differences in our skin, such as flakiness, dullness and lack of radiance.

For a hydrating boost to the skin, following products are recommended for soothing the symptoms of dehydration.

Uplifting Facial Water
It's like a first aid kit in a bottle when it comes to skin hydration. An immediate boost to soothe skin that can feel tight and uncomfortable during the day and fragranced with orange blossom, giving an instant pick me up for both you and your skin. It can be used under or over make up, so it’s a perfect handbag essential.

Multi Task Day Cream

Multi Task Day Cream gives back the moisture that daily stress takes away, helping prevent moisture loss during the day and helping to protect cells from environmental aggressors that can also dehydrate. In some severe cases this can cause extreme dryness and skin conditions such as eczema that can also impact wellbeing and skin confidence. Multi Task Day Cream helps promote skin elasticity, and reinforces skin’s natural barrier so your complexion maintains a toned, smooth appearance.

Reaffirm Eye Serum
The delicate skin around the eye are, particularly the upper eye lid is prone to crepe and sag. The skin here is the thinnest on your whole body. When skin is dehydrated, lines can often show first around the eye, as there are no natural oil glands. This eye serum contains ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate (part of the skin’s natural moisturising factor) to help improve skin hydration as it is able to absorb many times its own volume of water. Additionally, lipo moist helps form a moisturising barrier layer to rehydrate the skin. This product helps tighten, tone and smooth the delicate skin around the eye.

In addition to treating your skin, it's important to also make sure that we take a holistic view and look at what we're putting into our bodies to hydrate from the inside out. When we feel dehydrated, our body lacks balance, and we can feel out of kilter, especially during winter time when we can become busy and stressed during the party season. Drinking water is good for the skin, it helps brighten the skin and enables cells to perform at their optimum levels. Before a big event, it’s a good idea to up your intake of water for at least a week before, as the difference shows not only in your skin, but how you feel.
